(FYP) Fashionastic Show

This project is about promoting the fashion show event of students from Fashion Design courses in Management & Science University (MSU). This event participant will be the degree and diploma students of the courses. They will be allowed to show their garments and creativity during the show. This project is organized to attract the MSU community to attend and watch the show. Besides that, it is to promote the design courses as well as the faculty and the campus. This event is collaboration between graphic design and fashion design students.

This event is not only a private and internal event but an open event that will allow the audience from the outside such as parents and people from the related industries to participate. Few designed items are used to attract people to attend the show. The designed items are made using illustration, photography and interactive techniques. Software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe In Design are used to complete the items. The items that act as the promotion for the event include posters, buntings, flyers, brochures and other promotional items.

The fashion show theme’s is set by the related fashion lecturer which is “The Magnificent Architecture of Malaysia”. The fashion students are needed to create garments using the magnificent architecture that exist in Malaysia as the concept. Futuristic concept is chosen to be implied to the promotional items. Futuristic means having or involving very modern technology or design. This concept is chosen since a lot of magnificent architecture in Malaysia has a futuristic design. Futuristic is not a new thing in design concept.
